So what about the last seal? For some reason, the Lamb paused.

Meanwhile, down on Earth, angels scurried around and placed the Symbol of God on the foreheads of 144,000 of the faithful -- 12,000 from each of the 12 tribes of Israel.

Back inside the big egg, I found myself surrounded by multitudes of every age, shape, and ethnic origin, each wearing a white robe and holding a palm branch. They dropped to the ground and praised God.

That elder fella who had befriended me earlier asked if I knew who these folks were. No, I dared not guess.

He said they were the people who had come to baptism after experiencing great suffering. He said God would take care of them now, and that nothing would ever harm them again if they followed the Lamb.

And what would happen to me? I dared not ask.
