Genesis 5 -- when people lived a very long time

This chapter is entirely family tree stuff. It is weird because everybody supposedly lived to be several hundreds of years old.

About a thousand years go by, then Noah is born. We are to infer that many humans were born by this time, and that only the males are important enough to mention.
