I wonder what I'll find out next!

This is Magger Frane's 'blog.

"hate has no place in our community"

This is an interesting meme -- generally it is applied against bigotry, and that's cool.

But ... does it also blunt us against hating the capitalist exploiters who are destroying the planet? Should we feel no hatred toward child sex abusers? What about politicians who take bribes from the "natural resources" industry? What about dictators who don't bother with the pesky need to hold fair elections?

I've thrown around enough "love your enemy" memes in my time. But maybe the problem isn't hatred, it is our definition of who deserves hatred.

When your only choices are "hate the immigrants" or "love everybody the same", guess who wins either way? Corrupt capitalists win either way.
