I wonder what I'll find out next!

This is Magger Frane's 'blog.

I am reminded of ghosts

I think many ghosts are actually false positives. Our perceptual system gets used to receiving particular kinds of input, but our perceptual system is biased and probabilistic, so it produces false positives. And when you are really used to perceiving something, like the patterns of a mammal who lives with you ... your perceptual system becomes biased and produces false positives when they aren't around.

So, ghosts.
